Herzog's 2nd questioning in continued graft probe was planned, his office says

Police questioned opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Zionist Union) under caution for a second time some 10 days ago in order to complete a previously-opened probe into a fraud case, Israeli media report Wednesday.
Herzog's office responded that the questioning was conducted to complete a probe that was almost done before and had been postponed.
"According to our understanding from Mr. Herzog, no new suspicions were raised," his office said. "Herzog trusts law enforcement authorities and is sure they will soon prove that he did nothing wrong."
Following the announcement an official from the police investigations branch confirmed that Herzog was questioned under caution recently, the second time since he was first questioned in a graft probe in April.
