Hit and run driver injures 3 generations of a family

A hit and run driver left three generations of a single family injured in Petah Tikva on Saturday.

A grandmother, her daughter, and two of her grandchildren aged seven and nine were all lightly wounded when a car smashed into them as they walked across a pedestrian crossing in the afternoon.

Police said the driver failed to stop and fled the scene of the accident without checking the condition of the pedestrians, or offering them assistance.

Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and evacuated the four to the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Channel 10 reported.
