IAF dispatches F-15 jets at NATO air show in Czech Republic

The Israeli Air Force dispatched two F-15 fighter jets and a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft to a NATO air show in the Czech Republic in late September. Other participants included Turkey, England, the United States and France and hundreds of thousands of people visited the show.
“It was important for us to go due to our longstanding ties with the Czech people,” explained Col. Y., deputy commander of the Nevatim Air Force Base. “Some of our first pilots learned how to fly at a base near Prague and we see importance in retaining those historic ties.”
