Regular physical exercise can prevent 15 percent of breast cancer cases, while 18% more can be forestalled by maintaining proper weight, according to the Israel Cancer Association, which will this week mark the end of the month for awareness of the disease in cooperation with the European Coalition Against Breast Cancer. The ICA will hold a special event open to the public at the Hangar at Tel Aviv Port on Thursday at 4.30 p.m. to promote exercise to reduce the risk that will include an arts display and a Chi Kong martial arts exercise lesson.
