IDF arrests twp Palestinians on Gaza border, one with a grenade

An IDF patrol on the border with the Gaza Strip arrested two Palestinians who had crossed the security fence and entered Israeli territory while one of them was carrying a grenade, the IDF Spokesperson’s Office said Sunday morning.

The Spokesperson’s Office said that the two men crossed near the center of the Gaza Strip and were stopped almost immediately by the IDF patrol.

They added that the incident is quite routine for the area, and that they don’t have any assessment that the two men were looking to carry out a terror attack.
