IDF eases security restrictions ahead of Christmas

The IDF will scale back its operations in the Bethlehem area over the coming week as it eases security restrictions ahead of Christmas.
The office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories has decided to allow Christian Palestinians from the West Bank to cross into Israel from Sunday and until Thursday as well as to allow 300 Christian Palestinians to cross into Israel and to fly out of the Ben Gurion International Airport.
Another 500 Christian Palestinians from the Gaza Strip over the age of 35 will be permitted to cross into the West Bank as well as into Israel for religious and family gatherings.
200 Christian residents of other Arab countries will be permitted to enter the West Bank Region during the holiday.
