The Iron Dome missile-defense system has successfully intercepted 28 rockets from the Gaza Strip since the restart of hostilities earlier in Wednesday, according to the IDF Spokesman's Unit.Palestinians have fired 87 rockets and mortars into southern Israel Wednesday. The Iron Dome system only aims to intercept those heading for population centers.
