IDF Maj.-Gen. (res) Israel Tal was scheduled to be laid to rest at a cemetary in Rehovot on Sunday.The decorated war hero and the creator of the renowned "Merkava" tank, died Wednesday morning at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot. Tal was 86 years old.
