IDF officer wounded in Hizme blast released from hospital

An IDF officer who sustained serious head injuries earlier this month when a bomb blew up near the Palestinian village of Hizme, northeast of Jerusalem, was released from the Hadassah University Medical Center on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus, on Monday.
The officer, Shahar Roditi, is now in good and stable condition, the hospital said, adding that it would continue to care for him in out-patient visits.
Roditi, who underwent 12 hours of surgery following the blast, had suffered from shrapnel wounds and broken facial bones.
A few days after the blast, security forces arrested two suspects for allegedly planting the explosives.
