IDF reinforces troops in a number of battalions after Hamas threats

Following an assessment by the general staff, the IDF has decided to reinforce troops in a number of battalions and accelerate intelligence collection in the West Bank Thursday following US President Donald Trump@@@s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel@@@s capital.
Earlier Wednesday, Hamas Politburo Chairman Ismail Haniyeh called for a third intifada.
Additional troops have also been placed on alert for possible developments.
