IDF soldier wounded while thwarting drug smuggling on Egyptian border

An IDF soldier was injured on Saturday amid an operation to thwart drug smuggling on the Egyptian border as fire was exchanged between the Egyptian army and the drug smugglers, Maariv, The Jerusalem Post's sister publication reported. 
The soldier was lightly injured in the hand as a result of shrapnel when an IDF vehicle was called to the area due to the shooting.
