Erdogan to Rivlin: Turkey is ready to cooperate with Israel against terrorism

President Reuven Rivlin spoke by phone on Wednesday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan days after the Turkish leader sent his Israeli counterpart a condolence letter following a terror attack in Istanbul that left three Israelis killed.
In the call, Erdogan said Turkey was "ready to cooperate with Israel against terrorism.”
“I believe that against this terrorism we have to stand together with the international community and take a very very firm stance, and increase our cooperation against all terrorist acts," Erdogan told Rivlin.
For his part, Rivlin thanked Erdogan for his condolences, and expressed his sorrow to Turkey in light of the suicide bombing that killed four people.
"Terror is terror, life is life, and blood is blood, whether it is in Istanbul, Brussels, Paris or Jerusalem," Rivlin said. "We must all stand together in the fight against this terrible evil.”
