Initial report: Flaming kite lands in West Bank winery

A flaming kite landed in the vineyard of the Tura Winery, located on Mt. Grezin near the Palestinian city of Nablus in the Samaria region of the West Bank.
According to an initial, civilian report on the matter, the kite came from the direction of Nablus. It failed to ignite a fire in the vineyard, which is owned by the Ben Sa’adon family.
The winery has 560 dunams and produces 100,000 bottles of wine a year. It also has olive groves and presses ones of tons of olive oil annually.
It’s presumed that the kite was launched by Palestinians. To date, most of the Palestinian launched flaming kites and balloons have been launched against southern Israel from Gaza. Only a few scattered kites have been launched against Israeli settlements or fields in the West Bank.
