Iran FM meets Palestinian Jihad leader, voices support for Palestinian 'resistance'

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed his country’s full support for Palesitnian “resistance” movements as he met with the leader of the closely linked Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
Zarif congratulated Palestinian Jihad head Ramadan Abdullah Shallah for the “victory” of the resistance in the Gaza war this past summer in a meeting on Sunday in Tehran.
“The Palestinians’ victory in that war and the previous victories of the brave Palestinian nation have proved the falsehood of the tales on invulnerability of the Zionist regime and its armed forces,” Zarif said, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported.
The Palestinian Jihad leader thanked Iran for its support for the Palestinians.
