Iran sanctions vote scheduled for Wednesday

UNITED NATIONS — The US and its allies called for a vote on a resolution that would impose new UN sanctions on Iran and its powerful Revolutionary Guard over its suspect nuclear program, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
