Iranian intel chief: Israel planned to assassinate Ahmadinejad

Israel planned to assassinate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during last month's elections, Teheran's Intelligence Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei claimed Friday.
Mohseni-Ejei told the state-run Fars news Agency that Israel, collaborating with Iranian opposition members, met in Sharm e-Sheikh and in Paris to plan Ahmadinejad's killing.
