Iran's semi-official ISNA outlet quoted an unnamed source on Wednesday saying that the perpetrator of an attack at the Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini in southern Tehran had blown himself up. The identity and the motivation of the assailant was still unclear, Tasnim said.
Several people were wounded in the incident that occurred shortly after gunmen opened fired in the country's parliament, killing a guard.
