Iranian president arrives in Istanbul for Islamic summit

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday evening to attend the summit of Organization of Islamic Conference hosted by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.Rouhani was greeted by Turkish and Iranian officials upon his arrival to Istanbul's Ataturk airport.Iranian president was scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts and meet Iranian expatriates living in Turkey on the sidelines of the summit according to the Iranian officials.During the two-day summit, leaders of Muslim countries will discuss regional development with the Palestinians and Syrian crisis high on the agenda.
