As part of the move, Gallant gave up his position as Housing and Construction Minister, and was appointed Aliyah and Immigration Minister - a precedent that does not bode well for Bennett and Shaked, who left their party but retain their ministerial posts, the report said.Bennett and Shaked announced that they were leaving Bayit Yehudi and forming a new religious and secular partnership, Hayemin Hehadash, that will run in the April 9 election.
