Islamic Jihad claims responsbility for rockets attack

Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the Friday night rocket attack on southern Israel announcing on Saturday morning "we can not stand with our hands tied."

During the Friday March of Return protests 5 Palestinians were killed by IDF sniper fire and 85 were injured, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.

Protesters burned tires and threw explosive devices, hand grenades and Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers. The IDF responded with protest dispersal methods.

In response to the Friday night rocket attack on southern Israel the IDF struck 80 targets in Gaza, including the HQ used by the Hamas General Security Service.
