Israel Cancer Association issues warning for Pokemon Go players

With large numbers of people running around in the sun to catch characters in the Pokemon Go smartphone application, the Israel Cancer Association warns the public to protect them from sunburn and the risk of skin cancer.

The relatively safe hours to go out are before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. Try to spend as much time in the shade, the IMA said, and wear a wide-brimming hat, sunglasses and light, long-sleeved clothing and regularly apply sunscreen. Drink water often to avoid heat prostration and be aware of traffic dangers.
