Israel comes to standstill as siren marks beginning of Remembrance Day

A siren heard throughout Israel on Sunday at 8 p.m. marked the beginning of Remembrance Day for the Fallen of Israel’s Wars and Victims of Terrorism.
Traffic stopped in observance of the siren, which was set to be followed by an official state ceremony at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
