Israel Police investigate officer for alleged 'inappropriate relationship' with subordinate

Israel Police’s internal affairs department, which is responsible for investigating corruption in the police force, is probing an officer in the North who is believed to have maintained “an inappropriate relationship” with a subordinate, Army Radio reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the officer, who was recently promoted to the rank of major general, was assigned to command a police station despite the fact that the alleged relationship was common knowledge among other officers.
The police has been rocked by a series of resignations from officers who were believed to be among the candidates to replace the outgoing commissioner, Yohanan Danino.
