Israel provides first aid training to Indian volunteers

Magen David Adom (Red star of David),  the Israeli emergency service, is currently working with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) to offer medical aid training to volunteers, reports the Hindustan Times.
The volunteers are people with no first aid or medical education and their training will be examined by Israeli experts who will then certify them to serve as part of a first response team during emergencies
The topics covered range from basic hygiene to CPR and the ages of the pupils range from adults to school children.
The program is now being created by Israeli and Indian experts that ensure it will fit local needs in India.
