Israel unseasonably cool as snow falls on Mount Hermon

The top of Mount Hermon in northern Israel saw some two-inches of snow on Saturday, Israel Radio reported.
Further south, the country will see occasional rain and isolated thunderstorms as gusty winds hit the north and center, the Israel Meteorological Service said.
The IMS warned of a risk of flash floods in the Jordan valley, Judean Desert and Dead Sea area, with possible flooding in low places.
