Israeli actor Moshe Ivgy questioned under caution in sex crimes probe

Prominent Israeli actor Moshe Ivgy was questioned under caution by police on Tuesday following a series of complaints of sexual misconduct.
Tuesday’s questioning took place at the Lod headquarters of the special “LAHAV 433” unit of the Israel Police, and comes just days after a report in Ynet stated that a second woman had come forward to issue an official police complaint against the actor. That complaint was the second official one filed against the actor by an alleged victim in recent weeks.

In February, police confirmed that they had launched an official investigation against Ivgy, after a story in the Israeli news site “Walla” reported that six women who formerly worked with him had accused him of sexual harassment, including two who had taken polygraph tests that asserted they were telling the truth.
The reported allegations followed a similar modus operandi, in which Ivgy would sexual harass or force himself on women who were working on projects with him.
Ivgy, one of the most well-known entertainers in Israel, has denied the allegations against him.
