An Israeli man was killed Wednesday night after falling from a cliff while hiking near the ancient city of Petra, Jordan, Channel 10 reported Thursday. Representatives from the Israeli Embassy in Jordan and Jordanian authorities contacted the Foreign Ministry who sent a team to investigate the incident. Upon their arrival they pronounced the man dead and immediately alerted his family. The 23-year-old man died after falling 30 meters to his death while hiking with a group of friends in Wadi Abu al Aorok, Jordan, just 30 miles south of Petra.
