Israeli minister: Assad leadership in Syria worst since Nazis

Housing Minister Yoav Galant stated on Tuesday that the leadership of Syrian President Bashar Assad was the worst since the Nazis led by Adolf Hitler in Germany during WWII.
"What is happening in Syria is defined as genocide, under all its classifications," he told Army Radio. The Kulanu minister added that Israel wants to see the Assad and his Alawite regime fall from power and be replaced by a moderate Sunni ruler.
Galant's comments came the day after the US State Department accused the Assad regime of having constructed a crematorium at the notorious Sednaya military prison near Damascus to burn the bodies of prisoners that continue to be executed inside.
Current estimates of death in the more than six-year civil war in Syria vary between over 300,000 and 400,000 fatalities.
