Israeli police dog sniffs out illegal firearms

A police dog currently in service on behalf of the Israeli Border Police discovered four illegal firearms in a concrete factory in the industrial park of Tayibe, an Arab-Israeli city in central Israel.
The dog, named Ben, pointed to a section of the factory and as the police officers searched it they discovered an M16 rifle, a handgun, and two improvised Carlo-type sub-machine guns.
Three local residents of Tayibe were arrested, all of them in their 40’s and members of the same family.
The investigation is still ongoing.
