Israeli UN Ambassador urges UN to ensure end to Hezbollah arms violations

Taking to Twitter, Israel's Permanent Representative to the UN, Danny Danon, encouraged the United Nations Forces in Lebanon body to act with more force on punishing Hezbollah's armament violations.

Danon encouraged the Security Council to implement a new mandate, as the current one will expire this week. He said that " must carry out their duties and end Hezbollah violations to ensure that the region remains peaceful."

He also praised American UN Ambassador Nikki Haley for her harsh words for UNIFIL's 'blind eye' towards Hezbollah's violations of the mandate.
