Israeli victim of Germanwings disaster buried in Kfar Saba

An Israeli victim of the Germanwings disaster that took the lives of 149 passengers when the Airbus A320 crashed into the Alps on March 24th was buried in a ceremony in Kfar Saba on Thursday, aftrer he was returned to Israel this week.
Hundreds gathered to pay their respects to Eyal Baum of Hod Hasharon, who was 39 when he died.
Authorities investigating the crash believe co-pilot Andreas Lubitz purposefully crashed the plane en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. The victims had 19 different nationalities, including 16 high-school students from a single German village who were returning from a school exchange program.
Returning the remains of the victims was complicated by the remote location of the crash and the fact that the plane hit the mountains at such a high speed, complicating the collection process.
