Residents of 432 communities in 24 regional councils across the country voted for council members Tuesday.Most cities and municipalities voted on October 22. But the regional councils around the cities held their elections Tuesday.Eight of the 24 regional councils, including Gush Etzion and the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council between Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh, did not have elections for mayor because there was only one candidate.
