Seven tons of powerful RDX explosive apparently en route from Iran to Syria have been seized by Italian authorities on Wednesday, Reuters reported.Italian anti-Mafia police found the cargo in a shipping container in the southern port of Gioia Tauro.Also known as T4, RDX is a powerful high explosive and was designed to for military and industrial use.Authorities believe that part of the cargo was intended to arrive in Italy, police sources said.
