The Japanese government on Thursday released photographs of US President-elect Donald Trump meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Trump's first face-to-face meeting with a world leader. The photographs show Trump and Abe shaking hands at the Trump gold-gilded residence in Manhattan's Trump Tower. Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner also attended the meeting. According to a Japanese government statement, Abe and Trump gave each other golfing gear as gifts during their meeting. Abe later described to media the meeting as being 'candid and warm'.
