Jerusalem light rail hits, moderately injures pedestrian at Damascus Gate

A pedestrian that attempted to jump over the carriages connections of Jerusalem’s light rail near the Damascus Gate, was injured by the train and sustained moderate injuries.
MDA paramedics provided first aid and evacuated him to the Hadasssah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem.
Citypass, which operates the Jerusalem light rail, stated that “this is another incident in which a pedestrian went against the law and clearly violated safety regulations.”Services have not been disrupted, and the Jerusalem light rail is running on schedule.
