Jewish man taken hostage in Mexico City released

Reports revealed Friday that a Jewish man who was taken hostage in Mexico City has been released.
The 19-year-old member of the Haredi Jewish community in the Mexican capital, identified only by the name Shlomo, was taken hostage on November 12 after a security guard allowed the unassuming kidnappers inside the building.
The suspects afterward contacted members of Shlomo's family and said they were holding him for a large ransom. The family eventually agreed to pay the ransom and on December 30, the kidnappers finally released the man.
Shlomo reported that the hostage-takers took good care of him during his time in captivity and did not hurt him in any way.
