J'lem youth arrested for using Saudi hacker credit cards

Police detained a 15-year-old resident of Jerusalem Tuesday on suspicion that he used credit card information obtained by a Saudi hacker to buy electronic merchandise.

The suspect is believed to have contacted the hacker through the internet. The hacker responded by giving him four credit card numbers. The suspect used information from two of those cards, spending tens of thousands of shekels on the merchandise.

Police announced Wednesday that the youth has been arrested, along with his mother, who is suspected of being involved in the crime.
