Jordan's new ambassador: Israeli-Palestinian peace is the highest priority

Jordan's new ambassador to Israel praised the Jordanian-Israeli peace agreement and promoted the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians in a statement at his official reception at the President's residence in Jerusalem on Thursday.

"King Abdullah believes that the peace between us is the cornerstone of regional and world peace," said Ghassan Majali. "A breakthrough in the peace process is of the highest priority for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
