Journalist hit with anti-Semitic hate mail after profile on Trump's wife

An American Jewish journalist who wrote an in-depth profile of GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s wife has been bombarded with anti-Semitic hate mail from people presumably supporting the real estate mogul’s candidacy.

The writer, Julia Ioffe, penned a lengthy piece for GQ magazine about Melania Trump and her Slovenian roots. In response, she was inundated with emails, threats, and horrific memes on social media from Trump supporters, including anti-Semitic Holocaust references and anti-Jewish slurs.

Ioffe was targeted after Melania Trump took to Facebook and complained that the GQ profile was inaccurate.
