Karnit Flug, Larry Summers also in the running for BoI governor

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has offered former US Treasury secretary Larry Summers the job of Bank of Israel governor, Reuters reported on Saturday.
Globes reported on Saturday that acting-BoI governor Karnit Flug is also in the running for the job.
The Turkel Committee responsible for vetting nominees to certain high positions has already approved three candidates - Mario Blejer, Zvi Eckstein and Victor Medina.
Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid are expected to make their decision on Sunday.
