US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas this week in a bid to convince him to agree to the American framework proposal that would allow for peace negotiations to continue.
According to AFP, the meeting will take place on Wednesday in Paris. Israel and the Palestinians remain deadlocked over the formula for a framework deal that would serve as the basis of final-status talks.
