Kerry: Israeli-Palestinian framework deal won't be ready by April

US Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday night he would not be able to present a framework document for continued Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations within the nine-month deadline given to the current round of talks, Israel Radio cited the top US diplomat as saying.
Kerry rejected speculation that negotiators were not advancing in their pursuits, and told reporters in Washington that both sides were still engaged in talks.
When negotiations on a final-status deal begin, it will not matter if they last another nine months, Kerry said. He added that he was willing to continue peace negotiation without a set time limit.
