Kerry to meet Livni and Jordanian FM

Amidst a renewed United States drive to rekindle the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, US Secretary of state John Kerry is scheduled to meet with Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh in Rome on Wednesday.
"In Rome, the Secretary will also meet with Jordanian Foreign Minister Judeh to discuss regional issues and with Israeli Justice Minister Livni as part of his ongoing discussions on the path to peace," according to the US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki.
Livni who is responsible for the peace process in the absence of a foreign minister, just met with Kerry in Washington on Thursday. Yitzhak Molcho, Netanyahu’s envoy on the Palestinian issue, was also at that meeting.Talks between the Palestinians and Israeli have been largely frozen since December 2008.
