Key party leaders set to meet amid coalition crisis

As progress in the marathon of coalition talks came to a standstill on Sunday evening, Likud-Beytenu, Bayit Yehudi and Yesh Atid were due to meet at 10 p.m. in a bid to resolve the crisis.
Negotiations hit a stumbling block earlier in the day over the issue of equalizing the burden of national service. Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid and Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett were due to meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at his offices.
