Keyes officially appointed PM's English language spokesman

David Keyes was officially appointed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's English language spokesman Monday, in place of outgoing Mark Regev who will serve as the next ambassador to London.
According to a statement issued by the PMO, the two will begin their positions "very soon."
Keyes, 32, a Los Angeles native, received an undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern studies from UCLA, and pursued a masters degree in diplomacy at Tel Aviv University. He made aliya with his family at 23, and served in the Foreign Relations Unit of the IDF.
Prior to this appointment, Keyes served as founder and CEO of a New-York based human rights organization.
Keyes "thanked the prime minister for his trust" and said  it was a "great privilege to serve Israel, especially in light of the many challenges faced by the nation," the PMO stated. 
Keyes is fluent in Hebrew, English, and Arabic.
