Khamenei: Iran doesn't accept nuclear weapons, believes no one should have them

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed once again on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic does not accept nuclear weapons and believes no one should have them, Iranian news agency Fars reported.
"We don’t accept nuclear weapons, not for the sake of the US or others [pressures], but because of our beliefs, and when we say that no one should have nuclear weapons, certainly we are not after them either," Ayatollah Khamenei told high-ranking commanders and veterans of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in Tehran.
He accused the West of opposing Iran's nuclear program in an attempt to hinder the country's progress and "protect their monopoly over nuclear technology."
