Knesset committee passes 'Lapid 2' in 2nd, 3rd readings

The Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee on Monday approved the proposed “Lapid 2 Law” in its second and third readings.
The proposed law would obligate new candidates for political office to disclose details of their fund-raising upon entering politics.
The proposed law's initiator, Likud MK Yariv Levin, told Army Radio that he intends to bring the proposed law before the full Knesset by the end of this week in order for it to be voted on before the Knesset's upcoming winter recess.
