Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin on Thursday called on Communications Minister Moshe Kahlon not to leave Likud in order to head a new independent party.In an interview with Army Radio, Rivlin stated: "Moshe, for what reason would you leave? Stay with us and we will have a new social leader."Referring to Kahlon's announcement that he may form his own party based on Likud principles, Rivlin asked him: "What reason is there to go through all the stress merely to arrive in exactly the same place?"
