Labor to petition appointment of Kahlon

The Labor party said on Sunday evening that it will petition Likud minister Moshe Kahlon's planned appointment to chairman of the Israel Land Association.
Labor MK Eitan Cabel said the appointment is against the law and against instructions of Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein regarding appointments made during elections.
"Netanyahu is panicking after Likud Beytenu's continual loss of mandates and takes out his eternal band aide - Kahlon," Cabel said.
According to Cabel, Netanyahu "is mocking the intelligence of the citizens of Israel who understand today that the prime minister hasn't lifted a finger in the past four years to lower the insane housing prices."
