Landau mulls limiting High Court input on Knesset rulings

National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau on Wednesday said that the possibility of legislating a new law which would limit the High Court of Justice's input on Knesset decisions should not be dismissed.
Landau made the comments in an interview with Israel Radio in connection to the newly passed Boycott Law. The Boycott Law could potentially be overturned by the High Court, to which a petition against the law was submitted by Gush Shalom on Tuesday.
The Israel Beiteinu minister defended the controversial law, saying that it makes calling publicly for certain boycotts a "civil wrong," but does not limit freedom of speech or the right of individual citizens to boycott as the wish.
